phantomEye LifeAssist is an intelligent cell phone based monitoring system that autonomously tracks state of motion, orientation and
location to generate exceptions and alerts.
It is a versatile, customisable and extendable solution that can be put to multiple uses. From tracking lone workers to determining the status of elderly
people living alone.
It is enterprise ready and provides a dual homed alert transmission allowing monitoring companies to integrate LifeAssist with their existing alarm
systems.
Built for rapid deployment and “zero” user training, the LifeAssist system is voice driven at the user end and entire management and configuration can
be done remotely.

Communication
By default cell supported data network is used. SMS can be enabled selectively for SOS type alerts or all communication. MMS is used for picture data. The dual home features sends data from the cell phone over HTTP to user-defined end-point.
Alerts
Alerts can be tracked individually for each cell phone and mapped to one or more recipients. Each alert can be selectively mapped to an alert transport like e-mail, SMS (text), Twitter or automatic voice calls.
Reports
The system provides a rich set of reports for each event that is detected including the status of battery, charging history, location history (when GPS is on), heartbeat history, alerts and events reporting.
Extensions
The LifeAssist system can be interfaced with a PIR sensor to use as a motion detection security system or also used for elderly monitoring allowing multiple uses.
Enterprise Ready
The solution comes ready to deploy with a complete web based backend that allows managing of thousands of cell phones. For security and monitoring companies who already have a backend alert system, the LifeAssist solution can plug in via HTTP protocol and provide redundancy of two
independent systems.
Simplicity
Install LifeAssist software on the cell phone, register device on backend, set up alert parameters on the backend and send to device. Track and mange globally.

How LifeAssist Works?
The subject being monitored must carry a cell phone with LifeAssist installed. The specific parameters that need to be monitored can be remotely configured from the web login. Also, for each monitored parameter alerts can be set and recipients / supervisors can be allocated to receive the alerts.
The web backend can also be used, as a control room as high priority alerts trigger audible alarms that need to be acknowledged by an operator.
When an alert condition is triggered, for example a no-motion for a specified time, the cell phone beeps and warns user of the condition, giving the user enough time to rectify the state by showing motion. If the user does not respond to the beep then the cell phone triggers an alert sequence. The
alerts are sent to the phantomEye backend and additionally to the dual home URL (if defined). On the phantomEye backend the alerts are recorded and then automatically forwarded to recipients over SMS or email or voice calls. Since the cell phone software is remotely configurable the solution is not hardwired to a specific security scenario and can be configured as the field requirements demand. This makes LifeAssist very useful for a whole range of monitoring and security scenarios.
